what is there not to like!? the whole exprrience of samothraki is absolutly something to get to feel no matter the season i am positive. "the cottage" is a funky name for a full functional space with everything you need. whenever we called for anything they responded on the spot and offered their help in any matter even at late hours well beyond common sence. the PLACE is perfect for a family of four, or two couples and i am prety sure that if you talk to Kiki (our so kind host) she will be more than happy to acomodate few others in the olive garden and let them put up a tentbor two. there is so much space with plenty of flowers for a nice view in the morning and plenty of shade for relaxation and reading time in a hammok. 3 minute walk to the beach. 25 min walk to the nearest taverna ARGO (ΑΡΓΟ) (very lovely family). 15 min by car to SubSaos diivng center. the olive tree garden, the pale white and deep pink leanders, the quite night, the people, the island itself, the spectacular view of mount Saos who takes up his green and rocky slopes right from the cottage back yard... we were'nt even bothered by the constant cricketing "music" of the cicadas.

Wonderful location, green garden and nice friendly hostess, madam Mirsini, who really saved us late in the evening when we were without keys, money and the car. The balcony was very nice (with an antimoskito door), we liked the outdoor kitchen, the water was hot!

The hosts, George and Linda, were amazing - so helpful and friendly. I actually miss their positivity now that we are no longer with them. The rooms were very clean and the outdoor cooking space was well equipped with everything needed for a good meal!

I liked everything about this place. There was absolutely nothing negative and I wish I had booked more days. Lovely owner, well-maintained garden, great view, clean and super-spacious apartment, easily accessible from the port (by car). In general, a great place to relax and unwind.

Every morning Kalliopi offers traditional haslamas for breakfast, always with a smile and warm energy. Kitchen is free to use for guests, with complimentary tea (from the local mountains) and coffee. Location is mesmerizing, in the middle of the forest, with a stream passing by the property so you fall asleep every night lulled by the flowing water. Therma is an amazing place, local cafe is walking distance and a few very good restaurants. Quiet yet alternative, laid-back yet vibrant. One of the best vacations I ever had. The island is fascinating, energies potent and healing. Everyone is cheerful and greets you with a smile, whether locals or tourists. 10/10 would recommend, even to my grandmother.

    We had the most amazing stay. The hosts were kind and generous. Every day we had a different type of fruit from their garden! It was very clean, cozy and the garden was just fantastic. We had to drive almost everywhere, but it was worth it! I am looking forward to visiting again!

    Perfect and quite location. Very cute outdoor kitchen and a colorful garden. Beds are comfy, good water pressure, got clean bedsheets and towels every 3rd day. We definitely had everything we needed ! And for the end- THE BEST Hosts you can get, always there ready to help and chat.
