Excellent host, very proactive and helpful. Very comfortable bed, very clean and spacious room with a balcony. Nice hot shower. Good location. The host family are so nice. They gave me a lift to the next town as there were no buses that day from Zaros. Very kind

This house is well equipped and has everything you need for a short or long stay. It is such a beautiful place . The town of Mires is an authentic Greek town and Everyone is warm and friendly. This is a beautiful traditional home in Zaros, offering three apartments. Every apartment is clean and extremely comfortable with everything you need inside. The bottom apartments are great for jumping straight into the pool and the top apartments are has incredible views. The village of Zaros has everything you need, tavernas, coffee shops, little traditional bars, pharmacy, bakery, butcher and gift shops. You are close to hike the Rouvas Gorge and visit Lake Zaros. The nearest stunning beaches are approximately 40min away. The owner Vivi and her sister Cristina make you feel welcome straight away. Their Taverna Vegera, is great, serving home cooked traditional delicious food. Lovely lady owner. Set in a garden with mountain views. It was so nice to stay in a home. It has two bedrooms, a lounge and formal dining, a great kitchen and nice veranda with mountain views. Plenty of room. Good oil heating and efficient bathroom plus on property parking. All in a village setting. And freshly picked citrus in a bowl. And of course a decanter of raki.

we liked everything; comfortable beds, great stay;very quiet location but still close enough to heaches and Knossos and Heraklion ( car an absolute must). we arrived very late at the property and we were met by a lovely host who made us feel very welcome! even though it was the middle of the night. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house; it’s very quiet and well equipped. everything you need for a relaxing stay. if you love being away from the crowd this is an absolute treat!
