The apartment is spotlessly clean, quiet, spacious with a good size balcony (we stayed in Afroditi apartment with a sea-view). The location is perfect, especially if you do not have a car. The noisy road can not be heard, but the way from the main road is not long and not steep. Just around the corner there is a great cafe Dentrakia, a small supermarket is also close by, and the center of Vathy with all the nice restaurants, bakeries, cafés and shops are in a 10-minute walk. A gorgeous beach called Dexa is just 12-minute by foot. Hristo, the owner is super friendly, helpful, guest-oriented and very kind, fast in replying, though speaks little English, but the translation apps can help. There was daily cleaning and a change of bed-linen after two days. The kitchen is properly equipped, you can cook, bake, there is a kettle and a toaster, too. In the fridge 2 big bottles of water, and couple of small butter and jams were waiting for us plus a pack of rusk, coffee capsules, tea-bags and sugar. The bathroom is not big, but also very clean, toiletries were provided, the water pressure was perfect and hot water was always available. The air-condition functioned very well, too. We highly recommend to book Iris Apartment which is in a traditional Ionian Ithacan house for your stay in Ithaca.

Very clean and had a fantastic view. Easy walk down to Vathy central and a quick taxi ride home of an evening. Please note this is atop a very steep hill. Hence the great view. Has everything you need except a washing machine but hand washing is easy and there is a little clothes line on the balcony. Very happy.

This is a beautiful property on its own headland just outside Vathi. The beds were comfortable and the shower was excellent. Views are stunning and the property itself is recently renovated and in tip-top shape. Vasilis (the owner) is charming and exceptionally helpful. We loved Ithaca (much more relaxed than neighbouring Kefalonia) and certainly hope to return for longer.

We stayed at Odysseion Apartments in October, and wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else! The view of Vathy harbour was absoutely fantastic and the apartment was very comfortable. The hosts were friendly and provided fresh towels and bedding every 3 days. There is a footpath down to the town which took around 10/15 minutes - it is very dark at night but super convenient! We hired a car, which I would recommend for exploring the island, and were able to park in the apartment's driveway. We would love to come back and stay again. It was an absolute dream :)
