The building is a marvellous traditional wooden building. The staff are wonderful. Beds huge and super comfortable. They have a gymnasium! They have lovely garden and great rice paddy views. The food was traditional Indonesian food and was excellent. Air con was great. Rooms are huge. The place is a real hidden little gem.

I had a truly wonderful time. The family is absolutely lovely, warm, kind, and always willing to help. The food was incredibly delicious and freshly prepared, using local ingredients, every meal felt nourishing and made with love. The location is a bit remote, but still within reasonable distance from the beach and local shops. The two bungalows were very nicely made, clean and comfortable. The owner was very friendly, we could even leave our bicycles there while we hiked the Rinjani. We had a wonderfull stay and would totally recommend it to everyone who is passing through Selong. There is also the possibility to organize hikes and other activities through the owner.

The family are so welcoming and kind. The room itself is clean and comfortable with universal adapters and hot water in the shower. Amm was my tour guide to the monkey forest, rice fields, waterfall and many other places. The tours I took were excellent and incredibly beautiful. The cooking was delicious and really good value for money. My favourite part was that the entire family were lovely and friendly and Egi is great with the guitar! This was the best home stay experience I have ever had and I hope one day I can return.

The bungalow was very clean and has everything you need. The bed comfortable, and has a mosquito net which is good considering it is a timber bungalow. The view was amazing, this is a great place to stay if you are wanting something quiet and in nature. Don’t come here expecting a touristy town. It is located in a village, which i really enjoyed exploring. There is waterfalls and rice fields. Also the black monkey forest is just up the road. The locals are very nice and helpful. You can hire scooter, but I didn’t, was able to easily explore just walking around. I ate at the bungalow for both breakfast and dinner, you can order through WhatsApp’s and there bring it to your balcony. DELICOUS. Breakfast was nice but the highlight was dinner (I had the egg curry!! Also tried the fried pineapple)

Really beautiful place with the most amazing view over the rice fields. The staff was beyond. They were all so nice and accommodating, offered us a free welcome drink (even our friend that didn’t stay there), coffee/tea throughout our stay, recommendations for places to see and even took me to get my flat tire fixed for free! Haha They even made me vegan pancakes for breakfast. It’s also at a very good location next to other rice fields, monkey forest and a few waterfalls. There’s also a few warungs nearby, one of them (monkey forest warung) owned by the Serenity owners. We really loved it here. Thank you
