The owner was waiting for us, she showed us the accommodation, which is attached to the private house. It was quite possibly a bit cold. We only stayed one night because we were traveling further afield. It is probably also suitable for a longer stay as there is a lot of natural beauty around.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming countryhouse. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of thoughtful touches – a real blend of countryside charm and luxury. The spacious living room overlooked a peaceful garden and featured a cosy fireplace, large TV, and a fully equipped kitchen in the corner, perfect for a relaxing evening in. The bedroom was incredibly comfortable with a huge bed and luxury linen, and the ensuite bathroom was spotless and modern. Jennifer, our host, was fantastic – so welcoming and attentive, leaving us provisions for breakfast and ensuring we had everything we needed. We loved the private entrance, outdoor seating area, and the nice selection of books and games. The location is brilliant for exploring the area – close to the picturesque village of Cong, Ashford Castle, and the stunning landscapes of Mayo and Connemara. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended for both short and extended stays.

Not too many spots in the centre of Tuam. This was ideally located within a few mins walk of major pubs etc. Spotlessly clean, a drop of milk in the fridge so you could make a cuppa, the small things matter. Easy to check in with a lock box, so no need to be working around the providers schedule, you can check in when it suits you. Heat was perfect, very warm and we could adjust it not to mention warm and welcoming inside overall. Small details mean alot, hot water bottle on the bed in case you're a cold person and need that bit extra.Bathroom was fully kitted out with shampoos etc in case you forgot anything. Kitchen had all you would need, two ring cooker plus most utensils you'd need to cook if you were in the mood. Would defo recommend and would defo use again if staying in Tuam.

Joyce welcomed us and talked so passionately about the house and it’s history. The shared downstairs areas of the conservatory, sitting room, library and dining rooms were homely and calming. They even have a yoga studio! Breakfast was superb, cooked freshly to order. A good variety of hot meals, breads and pancakes and fruits etc. the whole meal was delicious. The grounds and view are beautiful. Would love to return. Cannot thank the hosts enough for their efforts and kindness throughout our stay.
