The location was perfect! Our reason for choosing this location was the proximity to the Knock Shrine. It was a 5min walk, if that. The breakfast was superb. We were very very pleased with the Irish fry up! We ate breakfast twice for our 2 night stay. I loved the soda bread!! (Declan you have created a monster). Our hosts, Declan and Linda were genuine and so sweet. They couldn't have made our stay any better. Our room was super clean, our beds were comfortable, and the room was warm. If we get another chance to go back to the Shrine or to Galway, we will only consider The Drum Haven B&B.

The host is the most hardworking man I've ever met, very polite, cares about his guests, always comes around to make sure his guests are good, always available, gives you all the information, help and support you need. Very focused, organised, hardworking with a smile on his face. You need anything? He's a call away. The hotel has everything to make you feel at home...away from home and that includes a surveillance camera to keep the property secure and make the guests feel safe. The hotel is adjacent to the Bus stop, a stone throw to the train station, and few minutes walk to basic amenities like supermarkets, pharmacy, eatery, you name it. The hotel is perfectly located at the heart of the Town. If you are visiting Ireland, ditch the big cities, start with Ballyhaunis and check into JAMES LYONS B&B, you will thank me later.     Had traveled to Ballinrobe for a funeral. The hotel was ideal location only 20 mins from Ballinrobe. Food was excellent and rooms very clean and comfortable would definitely stay here again.
