I usually don't like B&Bs but after staying at Bertra, my girlfriend and I are already planning another trip here. Margaret is the best hostess I've ever experienced, we instantly felt at home and our stay was completely perfect. While the weather was less than ideal, the proximity to the beach meant we could still enjoy a nice (albeit windy!) walk. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

It's just a wonderful village cottage. So cosy inside. An Irish idylly. The house has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Big kitchen with all possible facilities. Comfotable bedrooms with wardrobes and comfortable beds. Big parking space. 2 bathrooms, one is with a shower cabin, the other is with a beautiful bathtub. Easy going owner. In the morning some local sheep came to greet us. It was a truly cute experience. 1h drive from Connemara national park.

Breakfast was not provided, however there was a kettle in the room and some snacks to eat. Staff were very friendly and helpful, went out of their way to accommodate us by bringing us to and from our family event in the town. Views were spectacular, looking straight across at Croagh Patrick. Lily the dog was lovely too.

Incredible location, Emmet was super friendly, welcoming and suggested a lot of brilliant things we could do during our stay in Westport. Everything was accessible from Dun Maeve, town centre just a walk away, def recommend.

    Location was perfect. Was concerned the street might be noisy on Friday night but we never heard a sound. Bed was comfy. Room was spotless.

    Our stay at Julie and Franks guest house was just spectacular! The location is georgeous, surrounded by pure nature and Julie and Frank are the loveliest people! The guest house was way bigger than we expected, everything was very clean and just designed with so much heart. They make an amazing breakfast and were giving us so many great tips where we could stay! We will definetely come back!

    Beautiful location . The hostess Mary cooked excellent breakfasts. Mary advised on local places to visit - and was able to attend the local annual music festival in Louisburgh . The Room had all the facilities you would expect. It was spotlessly clean.

    The house was spotless and well laid out. The Welcome Pack was a lovely surprise. The Kitchen / Living area was very comfortable TV and multiple channels allowed us to keep up to date with Wimbeldon. Books and Dvds were provided for the rainy days. WiFi was provided. The location was perfect for Old Head Beach, Louisburgh and Wesport.

    Location was stunning. Property was modern, spotless, very comfortable and had everything we needed and some. The breakfast was the best breakfast I have had at any accommodation type, hotels included. Lots to chose from and cooked to perfection! To top it all of, our hosts, Frank & Julie were so lovely and welcoming. One of the most enjoyable parts of our weekend away was having breakfast and chatting with them. Would recommend to anyone interested in visiting the West of Ireland. We will absolutely be returning!
