This little house is in a fabulous location, a short stroll from Oughterard village. Everything is brand new. The decor is beautiful. Beds really good quality and comfy. We brought our dog with us and she loved the secure garden. The welcome basket was a really nice touch...as was the Nespresso coffee maker. Really quiet and a great night's sleep.

This was one of the best, if not the best hotel experience of the last 5-10 years. Large and extremely cozy rooms, very attentive room service, fantastic breakfast and dinner, great location, and above all the friendliness and warmth of the host Henry. It couldn’t have been better, except the weather maybe.

We were pleased with the welcome we received upon arrival; an offer of a drink once we settled in the room. The size of the room, the cleanliness, the coziness, and location met or exceeded expectations. The small kitchenette was an added bonus. Upon leaving, we were offered tea or coffee before our journey back home. Looking forward to our next stay at Faherty's.

The location was absolutely amazing: peaceful and exuberant. The house is as beautiful in the outside as it is in the inside, with exquisite taste. The floors and bathrooms were spotless and the bed sheets and towels smelled like roses.

    Beautiful peaceful location, ideal for touring Connemara. A wonderful setting to return to at end of a busy day to that fantastic view out across the lake. A world away from everyday stresses! A real getaway from it all location! House is very well equipped and host is so friendly and available for any advice needed. We will return and this has been our 3rd visit to this charming house.

    The location was great, easy to find, and only a stone throw from shops, pubs, restaurants, etc. The property was beautiful, very clean, with all commodities. The room and beds were very comfortable. Our host Barbara was so friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was delicious.
