From the very beginning, everything was set up for a flawless stay. The booking process was seamless, and I received clear, precise instructions on how to access the apartment—down to the exact details of where to find the key. Arriving to be greeted by Sally and Padraig, who patiently explained every aspect of the property, made me feel instantly welcome and well cared for. The apartment is a masterclass in thoughtful design. Every necessity has been anticipated with remarkable care: from three luxuriously soft towels per person and ample toiletries (including quality shampoos, body washes, and even tampons) to a kitchen outfitted with every appliance you could possibly imagine. Whether you need a coffee machine with pods, an airfryer, a fully stocked cutlery set, or advanced baking trays inside the oven, every detail is taken care of so you never have to worry about a forgotten essential. It truly felt like a home away from home where nothing was left to chance. The Wi-Fi was impressively fast—around 100 Mbps—ensuring that streaming your favorite shows or staying connected was effortless. And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, the hosts went out of their way to show me the path to the beautiful local beach, adding that extra personal touch which made the stay all the more memorable. One of the standout features was the sleeping experience. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, so much so that both adults and kids drifted off to sleep within minutes, enveloped by the serene atmosphere of the space. In short, this is one of the best places I have ever stayed. Every aspect of the apartment, from its full range of amenities to the attentive hospitality of Sally and Padraig, reflects a deep commitment to guest comfort. I wholeheartedly recommend this property for anyone looking for a truly exceptional, worry-free getaway.

Excellent B&B in a quiet countryside (yet with walking distance to some facilities: supermarket (open 7/7), two pubs, 2 take aways, one restaurant (chinese), bus stop (quite frequent direct services to Galway) and a local church (Holy Mass on Sunday at 10:00, in Irish :-) The host, Micheal, as Irish as can be :-) Jovial, helpful, with a lot of local knowledge and willing to share it. Excellent place to stay for a day trip to the Aran Islands (less than 10 minutes drive to Rossaveal harbour, a few minutes more to Connemara airport) or a tour round wild and unspoilt Connemara. Spacious room with king size bed, clean bathroom with plenty of hot water. Full Irish breakfast (but other options also available), tea and coffee making facilities in a cosy common space upstairs. Thick carpets everywhere, contributing to cosiness, warmth and silence. Parking space available in front as well as in the back of the building, overall ca. 50-60 minute drive from Galway (a bit more than 3 hours from Dublin).

I had an unforgettable stay on Inis Mór, largely thanks to choosing Port Aran House, hosted by the wonderful Kevin and Sokha. The house has a quiet, warm magic to it - beautiful in design, perfectly kept, and instantly comforting. Port Aran House is ideally located: with easy access to the bars and shops, yet just tucked away enough to offer that rare, raw connection to the island's spirit and rhythm. My room had everything I needed, but the true highlight was the ocean view from my window. The breakfast buffet was a perfect ten - and it also became the stage for Kevin’s morning chats with guests, where he asked thoughtful questions, offered tailored recommendations, and shared stories about life on the island. All of the above and more is what makes this place not just accommodation, but a home - set in the paradise-like surroundings of Inis Mór. My intuition is never mistaken, and I have a strong feeling I’ll be coming back...

The location! You cannot ask for a better view than this place! So peaceful! Sarah Jane was very friendly and provided us with all the useful information to know for our stay. The room was nice and comfortable. Just the right size for 2 people. I was surprised by the nice shower this place has. I wish we could have spent one more night there!

I had a quiet, clean room with a nice little sea view. Modern bathroom. The host is very nice and welcoming. I walked a round the Island a lot, and this was a good base for exploring from. All the restaurants in town are within walking distance.
