Beautiful surroundings and quiet area, very conveniently located to go to Newgrange. Lovely house with clean room and large bathroom. The hosts were amazing, really helpful and hospitable. Breakfast was amazing (despite a minor misunderstanding, as I forgot to mention food allergies, everything was resolved to my satisfaction.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. It out done all our expectations. The place and surrounding we out of this world. We will definitely book again. We would highly recommend this place and was pet friendly which was a great facility to have and that's one of the main reasons we booked. Everything was spotless and we had everything we needed for our break.

WOW! What a lovely trip home! Everything was amazing. The accommodation was fab.and immaculately clean!! Lovely hot shower and great facilities In the kitchen. There's a lovely family run pub and restaurant next door which adds to the delight of staying here. Absolutely brilliant hosts..so friendly and helpful..We had a wonderful Christmas here!! Definitely going back here ASAP. So so Happy I booked here for our Christmas 2024 . It's one we will forever remember. Thank you to all the Staff at The Tollstone for making our stay wonderful..See ye guys again!! Kind Regards Eileen Baxter.

Central location to suit our needs with a toddler and a small dog. Perfect for what we needed for an overnight stay in Duleek. We asked for a table and chairs to sit outside when the toddler was asleep and it was provided with ease. Excellent for parents of a young child. Big green to burn off extra energy before bed. We brought our own travel cot as discussed before our arrival and again was accommodated. We will be back.

Such peace and quiet. I slept like a log. Lovely to be able to sleep and all you can hear is nature - so refreshing. The room was fantastic - hotel style luxury and more like a hotel suite than a room. Everything was to a very high professional standard - bedding clean, and fresh, the room and bathroom also felt like five star hotel standards. It is located in such a peaceful place you would not believe you are that close relatively to a motorway.

Towels are included :) The Hostel is located on top of the pub, so it's perfect to listen to some live musik, and grad a pint before going to bed. From the room, you could barely hear anything from the pubs music and the closing times in ireland are reasonable to catch enough Zzzs. Food (delicious burgers and other things) is also offered. The Hostel doors (front door and room) are locked via pin-codes so there's no card/key you can forget. the 6 ppl Dorm had it's own bathroom with shower (good water pressure). Some beds are extra-wide; there are light blocking curtains, lockers under the beds and usb+power-sockes (UK sockets) as well a reading light at each bed. The window towards the road also has a light blocking curtain and was relatively good isolated (not 100% soundproof but good). it's a ~10min walk (slightly uphill through the city) from the bus station (100x or 101 from the airport).

    Very clean, room had everything you want and more, espresso machine, iron, Netflix. Bed was really well made, beautiful curtains, huge glass sliding doors for a complete panormic view of the garden. Host was really friendly, gave us a lift to our wedding venue!! Couldn't have asked for better really.

    Very great location if you look for a quiet and nice place to stay. Daniel was very helpful and even went out finding us an electricity adapter for our european plugs. Coffee and tea provided. Close to the magnificent megalitic sites of Newgrange and Knowes.

    Easy location to get into Drogheda and Dublin, but with an added bonus that the property is set in a rural location surrounded by open fields and farmland. Daniel the owner is an absolute gent and nothing is too much trouble. Facilities in the accomodation are absolutely perfect and I could not fault anything, I have stayed a couple of times and have worked out of the accommodation on occasion and found the WIFI to be brilliant. This is a gem of a find and I can guarantee you will not be dissapointed.

    Great location, fab for attending a wedding at The Millhouse, Slane. The host was very welcoming. There was a folder with info about the local area. The place was warm and dry. Comfy bed. The internet access was terrific. We also had access to tea and a coffee maker.

    The lodge is immaculately clean and tidy. The owner is so helpful and such a gentleman. The lodge is in close proximity to all the tourist locations. Highly recommend the lodge for solo or family travel!

    I spent a few quite days in Daniel's apartment and really enjoyed it! The furnishing and fittings are modern and very comfortable. Nice little kitching, modern bath and cosy king size bed. Great location for excursions. I felt very comfortable. Daniel is a very friendly and courteous host, million thanks!!
