I stayed at Grand Casa for a day and honestly the stay was brilliant. If you’re looking for some peace and isolation, this is the place. The only thing is it’s a bit away from Mall Road, but trust me it’s totally worth it. They serve proper homely food and it was super tasty. I was lucky the weather was clear and I got the full view of Kanchenjunga right from the balcony. The room was also really spacious. Definitely a memorable stay.

The place is cozy and comfortable. Inn location is great, near to zoo- HMI- Museum, Mall Road. The owner and staffs are very kind and helpful. 11 / 10. Staying here was one of the highlights of my trip in India, because of how awesome the owner is and the atmosphere he created. From the moment I walked in I was welcomed and invited to drinks and we spent the next few nights hanging out and making music. And if you're planning on going to Sikkim after, the owner is from Sikkim and also has a hostel in Gangtok! Highly recommended. Thank you Karma and Samit!

    The courteous behaviour of the host- Ajit sir and his wife and the homely cooked food. The location gives the best view if the weather is clear. Rooms are neat and clean. It is 12-15 km away from the main town of Darjeeling and believe me it is really good as Darjeeling is really congested. The host also provides cab service at an affordable price. All in all, the best stay!
