The guesthouse is situated in a fantastic location- 30 minutes away from the glacier lagoon, surrounded by beautiful mountains. It was also close to Höfn, where we had a nice dinner. The rooms were fine, not modern, but I think this was even better contributing to the cozy atmosphere. The breakfast was also nice, perfect for a start of long day on the road. Most important what we loved about the guesthouse was how nice everyone was! We were caught up in a snowstorm and couldn’t make it for our first night. They were so understanding! We even got a partial refund, although they didn’t really need to do it since it was not their fault we couldn’t make it. Overall we had a great stay in Brunnhóll.

    The bedroom was spacious and very clean. The beds were a bit soft but that is a preference. The owner was extremely nice! The location was amazing and the surrounding view was incredible. The kitchen was very clean and also the bedroom. I would highly recommend!

    The guesthouse is surrounded by hills, is located in a very beautiful nature with a view to a nearby horse's farm. The location is therefore very calm. The guesthouse was very clean, there were two bathrooms and a kitchen, equipped with everything we needed. It was no problem to make a little bit later check-in (after 8 pm).
