This place is the highlight of our Iceland trip! We arrived and fell in love right away with this house that has beautiful 270 degree views of the bay! Everything we needed was provided. We had a wonderful 2 days there!

We were so glad that we were embraced by the warm welcome of the hosts in this guesthouse. We had to check in early due to an unexpected storm. The hosts were very understanding and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as the guesthouse was well-equipped with everything we need. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. The best part was that we were rewarded with the beautiful view of the snow mountains when we drove out of the accomms after being stuck indoors due to the storm.

This hostel is located on Berunes farm by the Ring Road and is 45 km from the village of Djúpivogur. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. Free WiFi is available.

The location and views are simply amazing, close to many interesting spots (such as Lækjavik, Meleyri beach, Nykurhylsfoss and much more). The staff is very kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

Hotel Stadarborg is in Breiddalur Valley, next to Road 1 and less than a 1-hour drive from Egilsstadir.
