This hotel provides classic hotel amenities and service -- something that is rare nowadays -- for a very good price. Our Superior room was spacious and everything was very clean. The breakfast buffet was very good, the dinner buffet excellent with a wide choice of salads.

Beautiful hotel that feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, with lovely rooms and a cosy restaurant area. The hot tubs overlooking the lake are great. The food was very good both at dinner and breakfast (we loved the happy marriage cake - the best we had in Iceland - and the homemade blueberry jam!)

Situated in Óbyggðasetur and only 15 km from Hengifoss, Hóll features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Extremely clean guesthouse. Lovelly stuff. Very quiet environment. Having breakfast at that kind of place was such a bonus! They make their own bread which is just perfect, and everything else on the self-service table was delicious and exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend this place!

We booked a lodge for 4 days but due to a snow storm and closed roads we stayed an extra night. The hosts are absolutely wonderful. They gave us dinner and breakfast. Apart from their care they are truly passionate about their work. They are building new lodges that look amazing. Our lodge was cozy and had everything we needed.
