Our tiny house was super cozy. Isabelle, the host was very kind. She was a life saver because our car brpke in the middle of the road and she waited until late night to check us in. Also, the next day she kindly offered and gave us a ride to the nearest city where we could rent a new car.

Scenery was spectacular and the room was very spacious, clean and felt like home.

Quiet, stylish and calm. The pleasant surprise was hot bath with a lake view and warm bathrobes. Breakfast was also good with a fresh home-made omelette (not very common in other hotels). Staff was very nice and helpful.

Situated in Óbyggðasetur and only 15 km from Hengifoss, Hóll features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.

We loved the cabin and its surroundings. It's secluded enough to feel isolated, yet a five-minute drive from the grocery store, gas station, etc. It was clean and all the appliances were in perfect working order. We cooked dinner and enjoyed the quiet, relaxing atmosphere.

Nice authentic guesthouse with every comfort you need. Friendly owner and really helpfull staff. Had a great local dinner and excellent breakfast. The quiet area with sheep running around makes it even more special. Excellent to discover Hengifoss and surroundings.

Super cute cottage, idyllically located in the calm and nature. This is perfect to rest and enjoy nature! The cottage was fully equipped and super clean. As there are trees etc, you are not disturbed at all by neighbouring cottages. Because of the weather, I couldn’t enjoy the terrasse but it must be really cool in summer. The host live on site and were very friendly and welcoming. That was my favorite location during my whole trip in Iceland and I hope to come back.
