My sister, her husband and I stayed at this lovely B&B for 2 days. We loved everything about our stay from the lovely spacious, airy rooms with modern bathrooms to the delicious breakfast. Immaculately clean, the Villa is set in a peaceful garden. But, the best thing was the owner, Giovanna and her daughter Valentina - what lovely people they were! We must also mention Mollie, the dog - a big softy ❤️. We had a specific reason for visiting Reggio Emilia - our father was born here and we were returning to scatter his ashes in his beloved homeland. However, we both agreed we would probably return to spend more time touring the area and would definitely stay at the Villa Soforo again.

Wonderful place, with a very friendly and helpful host. Old interior, beautiful historic style, but renovated on an absolutely modern standard. Location very central between train station and the historic city center. Reggio is not a standard destination but very much worth a visit. We’d come back any time.

It is very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The host is great, very forthcoming. He asked us evening before, what we want for breakfast and next morning all was there, accompanied by freshly plucked apricots from own garden.

The apartment is amazingly equipped with anything you might need, everything is super clean and spacious. Very comfortable to stay for a few days. Even though the host does not speak a word of English, she was trying very hard to help us get the the location (there were constrution sites and a football game on the day we arrived which made it impossible to access the road). The host was amazingly helpful and polite, we were very grateful for her hospitality.

A perfect place for a relaxing couple of days in the Italian countryside. The room was very spacious, nicely decorated and clean. The staff very welcoming. We got some nice tips where to eat, by parmiaggiano reggionale etc.! I would definetly recommend this place! Good to know when visiting: there is no cell phone connection - but working wifi :)

Clean, comfortable and lovely guest room, very nice breakfast, very friendly and kindly staff, amazing view from the window, great traditional farm house !!! And amazing local wine we enjoyed. The hotel is located in the very heart of elegant Reggio Emilia. It is stylish and furnished with a typical Italian taste. The staff at the reception are extremely kind and helpful. I was given a spacious studio on the uppermost floor of the building. The bed was huge and comfortable. If I come back to Reggio Emilia, I would definitely choose again Hotel Posta. Thanks for everything!
