The Castle is absolutely stunning. Highly recommend at least a 2 night stay. The views are breathtaking… The staff went above & beyond. The restaurant on site served the most delicious homemade bread. All the food we tried was excellent (& extremely cheap) The on-site museum is worth a visit. very interesting We spent 2 nights there, it was relaxing & just fabulous Breakfast was also very good

We were amazed by the unique concept: small farm in the hills, producing and preparing amazing food with few tourists around in yurts. We visited with small children and stayed overnight, we had an amazing time being part of this beautiful concept in nature.

    This place is stunning. Words cannot do it’s beauty justice. Yes it’s in a fairly sleepy location, and yes you can’t park right outside (& there are a few steps) but in my opinion that all adds to its charm. Staff were really attentive and keen to please. Lady at reception spoke excellent English. Food at the restaurant was not the usual tourist stuff and was really delicious and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was made to order (pastries, eggs, toast, juice, cereal etc) and was ok.

    This place is unique and a little quirky. The location is stunningly beautiful and staying in a castle is a rare opportunity. It’s not run like a top class hotel but it’s worth it for the experience, views and history. The staff are very friendly and keen to help. Rooms comfortable and modern bathroom. View from the pool area is worth the price alone. Breakfasts are fine and delivered with enthusiasm if a little unconventional. Bar and restaurant on site are worth a visit.
