Beautiful surroundings and relaxation. They are an events venue, and the attention to detail in the chalets is impeccable. They make something look so homely, yet everything is clean, working in fine order and maintained. Everything was ideal for our needs. The pool area too is beautiful and perfect to relax.

There are few times where what you expect is met with what you didn't know you needed. I came cold from a hard rainfall and was greeted with so much warmth that it still lasts. Fantastic location (hidden gem) overlooking the local lake, had evening meal on restaurant terrace lakeside food/service was outstanding, reception staff fantastic/welcoming (good English) excellent quality and value. Worth noting Mergozzo is slightly away from lake Maggiore but quieter more intimate and much better value. Mergozzo is a fantastic place to spend a couple of days, also good for enjoyable overnight if travelling via Simplon pass, will stay again.
