Wonderful place to stay! Our room & bathroom were lovely and comfortable. The entire home was decorated with so much care, it really felt welcoming. Our breakfast was delicious each morning and offered a little bit of everything - fruit, yogurt, bread/toast, pastries, meat and cheese. Chiara is a wonderful host and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. She was very informative with local sites to see and was always willing to help or offer advice for our travels. She is one of those people you wish could be your best friend! :)

Absolutely everything! We were greeted by Antonio who showed us around the property. Amazingly refurbished attic in an old city centre building. Fabulous attention to detail all over the property. Room has wi-fi, Netflix access, ac and is refurbished with quirky old school details. Bathroom amenities were great, plush towels and fab space organization. Common kitchen is like from a Tuscan home magazine. You prepare your own breakfast but everything is pre-set; espresso, yogurts, soft drinks ks, brioche, cake. It helps that you have an amazing view over the town and Sansepolcro. We have forgotten our ID’s in previous place and Antonio has organized to get them back with no issues. Would love to return to this place on some other time to enjoy Anghiari more.

Me and my friend were on a pilgrimage route Via di Francesco, starting from Florence towards Assissi. B&B Il Palazzo is a real jewel of Tuscany, a palazzo indeed. You can feel 1000-year old history of the building and amazing view of the mountains combined with brand new stylish apartments and rooms. Ancient fireplace and a modern bathroom makes you relax and get back your energy. But most uplifting is the atmosphere of welcome from the hosts. An amazing Italian couple, very friendly, trying to make your stay as comfortable as only possible. Thank you Giovanni and Paolo! We would definitely come back and recommend your palazzo to all our friends.

The place is wonderful. Overlooking the valley, you can stay in a carefully restructured old summer villa. The hosts are very welcoming, the room I had was enormous, clean and quiet. Breakfast is excellent - you can get both a sweet and (asking) savoury one (made fresh for you). The swimming pool is great to properly swim, and the surrounding are lovely.

Everything was perfect! I especially loved the view from the windows, the beautiful garden, and the table by the river — such a peaceful spot. The sound of the flowing water and the birds created a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. Anna was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. This property was absolutely fantastic! It was perfect for our family of four — very comfortable, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed. The facilities were excellent, including air conditioning, a laundry room, dishwasher, and a fully stocked kitchen. What truly made our stay special was the hospitality of the hosts. They were incredibly warm and welcoming, and even provided a handwritten local guide with recommendations for restaurants, sights, pharmacies, and more — complete with distances and opening hours. Parking was also easy and secure. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. Highly recommended!
