The location is amazing, it's right by the station, not far from the famous river, the nearest conbini is also super close. Its the perfect place to be able to walk around Nagatoro and the nearby shrines and mountains so easily. The house itself is lovely, all of the inside is furnished so well and comfortable to stay in. The kitchen has everything you could need. And above all, the staff here were so welcoming and accommodating. If you get the chance please stay! Thank you so much, we felt so welcomed and are thankful for sharing Nagatoro with us! We hope to stay again.

Nothing bad to say about this place: traditional-style ryokan with beautiful and clean facilities. We booked a large room with views of the forest - it was cosy and zen. The futon mattresses were comfy, the private onsen was so relaxing and the staff was friendly and courteous. There was free parking available and it was easy to find. The drive into chichibu is spectacular through the mountains.

Nothing negative to say. Great little hotel in the heart of Chichibu. Staff were fantastic, very kind and welcoming. Rooms were clean, beds comfy. If I’m ever in the area again I wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel again. We’ve been in Japan for about a month now and stayed in over a dozen hotels during our stay and this hotel was in the top 3 (with the others being full blown ryokans)
