Thank you for hospitality and lovely stay in your hotel. As always, Fairfield by Marriott offers simple, but well designed quality rooms, spotless clean environment and professional staff. I enjoyed the location away from the city centre with nice mountain view. Shuttle service to and from Nikko Tobu Station is great, however taxis were also available as well for reasonable 1000 yen fee.

Everything about my stay was so wonderful. Hiro and his adorable assistant, Marie, are attentive, kind, and welcoming. I got to hear different stories of Hiro's life as well as recommendations that I never would have known about otherwise. His care for the guests is so apparent, including turning the heater on every morning in the kitchen, being so responsive and flexible, and consideration for any needs. The house itself is beautiful with tatami mats in the bedroom, a zen garden, a mini onsen, and surrounded by ancient trees and nature. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave, kettle, and dishware, and Hiro-san provides towels and slippers. He also prepares the mini onsen for guests every night as well as shuttle service to Tobu and JR stations whenever you would like to leave or come back to the house.

Perfect villa for family holiday ! Super clean , well maintained with a lot of attention to all details. In the middle of the forest , which is calm and nice (dont forget the stinky bugs as well :) ) The room has everything you need and even more :) The rooms are big and very spacious , in room private onsen and sauna are also available, which is great for calm relaxing evening ! The house owner Ms Arai is very attentive and generous. It is very heartwarming. Right after we arrived, she offered to drive us to Toshogu Temple so we would not miss out the opening hours. When the shops and restaurants of Nikko almost all closed after 6pm, she drove us around town to look for restaurants that were still opened. She offered us free homemade breakfast on both days of our stay. One of the days we had to leave very early in the morning but she still served us breakfast and drove us to the station 6am in the morning. She also offered useful advice on our stay in Nikko. We are very grateful for her help 💖💖💖
