The ryokan was amazing - the room was beautiful, the futons comfortable, and the staff was very nice and attending. The dinner was very delicious course of several luxurious meals,and the breakfast was a japanese served meal plus a small buffet. The outdoor shared onsen was great, we loved it. Women wear a hotel-provided swimsuit in the outdoor onsen. Men onsen is separated from women and they are open from 6 till 10 and then from the afternoon till midnight. We also tried the private onsen which is an extra charge and needs to be booked in advance and it was nice. There is also a possibility to arrange a massage in your room. The dinner is served at 5 and 7 pm. They provide a free shuttle bus to the station. We plan to definitely come back again in the future, it was a highlight of our trip.

Lovely owners, with great English! We were there to see the Nachi waterfall which was a great location to do this! We had also hired a car and they were very accommodating with parking ! Would definitely recommend x

The host is exceptional and the house is in an excellent location for sea walks and surfing. Kitchen has absolutely everything for cooking your own meal. The garden is full of flowering plants. Very beautiful.

A beautiful place, the house was perfect and very beautiful. Comfortable and pleasant. The quiet environment, and close to the things that are needed (a konbini "family mart", bus and train station) ... the very nice beach and the perfect water. In addition, the gentleman, owner of the house, very friendly and helpful. I hope to return again. Thank you for everything.

This is a beautiful heritage home 2 minutes from the beach. It has been updated with modern amenities but still has traditional charm, including a garden. The owner was very gracious, and the home is part of a small, quiet neighborhood away from town.

This wonderful place in Nachi-Katsuura would be my absolute very first choice again, if I ever visited the place. It is made of gorgeous pine wood, by the owner, a delightful young man. The three story place, 2 minutes literally from the main rail and bus station, incredibly conveniently - has only two bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen-and-living area. For five days we enjoyed ‘our house’, a home from home.
