The place is calm, clean and has nice atmosphere. I very enjoyed the non-busy city vibes. I stayed in beautiful spatial large room with tatami floor. The owner and his dog are very kind people. He drove me to the Takatsuki station when I was leaving. And day before the landlord invited me for a delicious sushi. Thank you!

It is a nice 2 store apartment in a quiet and traditional neighborhood. There was plenty of kitchen and cleaning utensils to use. It really felt like staying in a japanese house, lik from your grandparents or something like that. Not fashionable, but very warm.

I absolutely loved the place! It exceeded my expectations. Everyone was very friendly and not only concerned with explaining things, but also genuinely interested in how we were doing and what we thought of both the accommodation and Kyoto itself. The place is amazing. I'm sure we wouldn't find anything similar at such a great price. We were able to experience a traditional Japanese house, but with all the modern comforts. The location is also excellent. The place is close to a huge and beautiful temple, and the best part is that it's not well-known. We spent an entire day there without the hustle and bustle of the famous temples. The area is so vast that it even has a train to take you from one point to another. P.S.: For fans of the game Fatal Frame, I highly recommend this place. It really feels like you’ve been teleported into the game!

    Recommended to anyone and everyome who is looking for tranditional Japanese stay. The host is aamaeezing!! He picks up and drops to the Subway Station. You can ask him about local must try and visit recommendations and enjoy giggling chats over dinner with him. We loved our experience over here. Bonus tip: Please save the location of this place once you reach here because it is not easy to find it on google maps. Rest, everything is great!
