The host lived next door and was always responsive. The host knows the area well and gave us great advice. The host doesn’t speak much English but converses fine through a smart phone app. We never had trouble communicating. Breakfasts were good and we bought the dinners which were home-cooked traditional Kazakh meals. We told the host that we might be late and when we arrived late the host was there to greet us. He then took us to a local restaurant so that we would not get lost. We had our own guest house with a bed downstairs and a bed in the loft. It was warm (November stay) and comfortable. The guest house had a microwave, refrigerator, electric water kettle. We even got to have a Russian sauna in the home-made sauna next door. I’ve been in Kazakhstan for over a month and this was my favorite place!

Its beautiful. A great and unique place to stay. Very comfy. Breakfast is served at the unit and its a good view. There are farm animals and horses wandering around outside the fence area. A great nature place and very much recommended.

The house was very modern and well designed. It offered lovely views and was equipped with all the necessary items. A small terrace served as a perfect spot for star gazing and admiring wild nature. The place was very quiet and secluded and at the same time you could reach the main street with shops and restaurants within a 10 min walk. Great location to discover the area. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Staying here was a truly unique experience, would love to come back one day.

Excellent hospitality at this family-run guest house. They served dinner and breakfast, and both were excellent--homemade food tailored to my dietary restrictions. The small cabin was very clean and the bed was the most comfortable I've slept in during a month's travel in Kyrgyzstan. Note: they don't take credit cards, despite Booking.com indication that they do.

The hosts were very nice and the location was very convenient. It was comfortable but gave a slice of Kyrgyz life. The family were able to arrange transportation to Lake Kaindy for us.

Our stay at the cottage in Saty Village was truly memorable. The place was very cozy and had a lovely, homely feel — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. Great place to be when you want to visit Kolsai & Kaindy lakes and be in a comfortable spot. Hosts were very friendly and we enjoyed local breakfast.
