One of the best accommodations we had in Sri Lanka. We stayed there for 2 nights but were really sorry we didn't stay longer in the end. The rooms are perfect for someone who wants to enjoy Arugam bay, stay close to all cafes, restaurants, as well as the beach, and still wants some comfort. The accommodation is located on the main street in Arugam Bay but somehow still closed off enough that it remains peaceful. The rooms were clean, bathroom and shower amazing, beds veeeery comfortable and the AC perfect. The curtains keep the light out really well which is great if you like to sleep in in the morning. The hosts are very kind and were constantly asking if we have everything we need. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Arugam Bay!

Great spot right by the beach. All facilities, including the bar, restaurant, yoga area and beach loungers were great. Pizza was delicious. Hosts were very helpful and kindly provided a cold coconut drink on arrival.

We had a perfect stay at Lucky Bay. The rooms are right on the main street at Arugam Bay, meaning you’re one turn away from most shops and eateries. We didn’t have to use an auto rickshaw the entire time we stayed. The rooms are standard for Arugam Bay in general, but very clean, relatively quiet at night and with good AC. Last but definitely not least, the host/housekeeper Mo was gracious, diligent and respectful. He goes the extra mile to help his guests with anything they ask, and deserves all credit for his great service. Big ups and all five stars to Mo and the team!

We received a very warm welcome, with lots of smiles and a pineapple juice 😀 this guesthouse is run by Iqbal and his lovely staff and he took care of us from the first to the last minute. The location is amazing, quiet and right at the beach, and walking distance to the rather noisy and ore crowed center of the village, which was just perfect for us. We asked for a room with air-conditioning and the aircon worked perfectly and cooled down the room very quickly. The bed is big and comfortable, the room equipped with everything necessary to feel comfortable and have some space to unpack the bags. The non aircon rooms have each a cute front terrace equipped with a table and a sitting area. The breakfast varies daily, at least during our stay, and is cooked and prepared with much love by the most lovely assistant lady who gives an extra warm touch to this place. We fell in love especially with the guesthouse staff and owner, their friends and family as the are all warm-hearted and welcoming people, that help and care and share at all times. If you want an authentic and welcoming place, this could be your home in Arugam Beach. We also, during season, recommend asking if the have wood apple juice, which is one if the best juices we ever had. We left wishing to stay there once again in the future and submerge again into this very lovely space the created just right at the beach. We had great conversations and left warm hearted, missing them already! Go for it, you won't be disappointed!!!! If there were more IQBALs in this world, the world would be a better place. Great place to stay in Arugam bay. The rooms are comfortable and clean, they have everything you need A/C, fan, small fridge, internet, hot water, hammock. The location is at the beggining of Arugam, but conveniently near the beach as well as the best local place to eat in A -bay. But the best of all are the hostess Nisha and her brother who really make you feel welcome and at ease, ready to chat as well as help with everything-from surf classes, scooter rental, mini safari, transport. Always with smile on their faces despite the hard work they do. Thanks for making our stay so memorable! The new owner is also nice.

We felt like home, everything is made for you to feel good, the pool is amazing, bungalows are super comfy, restaurant is really good (even the European food but also the local food not to spicy l, you can ask on demand), owners really helpful, friendly, here for you and the staff is joyful and super friendly to !
