Staying at this hotel was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. it truly felt like home, thanks to their warm and genuine hospitality. I have traveled many times and stayed in numerous hotels, but none have matched the comfort and care I found here. A heartfelt thanks to the owner, Mr. Shane, the manager, Sisira, and the entire staff, who went above and beyond to take care of me, especially when I was unwell. Their kindness and attentiveness made all the difference. The food is absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared with so much attention to detail. The rooms are spotlessly clean, neat, and designed to provide maximum comfort. The environment is stunning, especially with the serene riverside view that adds so much charm and peace to the stay. What impressed me further was the reasonable pricing, which is more than justified for the exceptional service and experience they provide. For me, this place has become more than just a hotel—it’s my second home. Whenever I return to Sri Lanka, I won’t be looking for another place to stay, because I’ve already found the perfect one. 💖

They wait for my arrival very late, and I decided to go south to Mirissa instead with a cab, They understood and didn’t even charged me for not coming, very kind and caring host, recommended

We recently spent five days at Cactus Boralesgamuwa and had a wonderful stay. The apartment occupies the entire upper floor, with private access via an outdoor staircase. The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating, and the property itself was well-maintained and spacious. It’s conveniently located near public transportation and shops, which made getting around easy. The furniture throughout the house was high-quality and very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the large outdoor area and balcony. On our last day, the host even surprised us with fresh king coconuts to enjoy before our departure, which was a lovely touch. We’re already looking forward to staying at Cactus again on our next trip to Sri Lanka, and we hope to stay a bit longer to fully enjoy this convenient location for traveling around Colombo.

From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Everyone was warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality truly elevated the entire experience. The property is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfect for anyone looking to relax. The garden setting creates a calm, refreshing atmosphere, and the rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well arranged with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I especially appreciated the quiet surroundings – it felt like a little getaway from the busy city. Location-wise, it’s very convenient, with easy access to Colombo while still being tucked away in a serene environment. Great value for money, and ideal for both short visits and longer stays. Overall, Pirivena Garden Resort exceeded my expectations in every way. I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and truly exceptional service.

It there were 6 stars, they’d get every one and have earned it. Beautiful place. Amazing staff. Buffets are delicious and plentiful. Rooftop (pool, spas, park, bar…) are incredible. Bridge to mall with restaurants, spa, movie theater, shops… Hotel offers free City Tours daily. 10 minutes south with hotel shuttle and you are at the Marino Beach Lounge (right on the beach)…perfect spot. Staff are some of the nicest people I’ve met One of my favorite places in my travels. 🙏

I had a really lovely stay here. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the bed was great. The staff were friendly, helpful and always smiling, which made me feel very welcome. The location is convenient for getting around, with shops and restaurants nearby. I would happily stay here again and definitely recommend it to others.

The hotel has a really great environment and an excellent sense of design. When I checked in, the owner wasn't around, but someone else was arranged to help me with the check-in process, which was quite an interesting experience. The next day, when I left, the owner was very kind. All in all, it was a wonderful stay. However, I only stayed in Colombo for one day. The room gave me a really nice feeling that day.
