We had an amazing stay at Kandalama Lodge in Dambulla. The place is peaceful, beautifully designed, and blends perfectly with nature. Our room was clean, comfy, and had a lovely outdoor bathroom. The pool was spotless and perfect for cooling off. The food was delicious – I especially loved the barramundi fish! What really made the experience special was the staff, especially Madushan, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Highly recommend this hidden gem! I don’t recommend the airport transfer service.

This stay was great, surrounded by lush nature and has very clean spacious rooms! WiFi is great for working remotely. We stayed there for 2 nights and couldn't be happier, with the service provided by the hosts, we had our meals here all home made (breakfast included and lunch and dinner with some extra costs). It's a family owned business and we truly felt like a part of their family while staying there. They arranged for us sunrise hike and a safari all with ok pricing. Highly recommend to stay here is you have Sigiriya in your itinerary.

This place is right in nature and full of creativity! The owner has built everything by himself and you feel the care and love that they have put into this place. Food is great and the room is clean and big. I also forget my trouser there and the owner made sure that i received it at my next destination. How amazing & helpful. A kind and hospitable family that went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and happy. They could organise everything for you if you so wish. The home was kept spotless clean. The breakfast was delicious and in abundance. Dambulla itself is really nice. It provides a glimpse of real Sri Lanka and we appreciated the conversations we had with the hosts. The cave temple is near by and main tourist attractions such as Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa are a must. We saw lots of elephants at the safari, up close, and enjoyed the wonderful views of Pidurangula rock. Thank you!
