We booked quite last minute and arrived in the evening, we were picked up and welcomed with a traditional Sri Lankan meal cooked by the amazing nana Nandi. The rooms are clean and the surroundings beautiful and quiet (apart from the beautiful nature sounds). Sudesh the owner is super helpful and tries to accommodate you in every need (from a Kandy tour, tuktuk service, or help by choosing a taxi driver, to a nice chat with a beer). The family has a lovingly warmth which makes you feel welcomed and at ease. We stayed here with our kids, but I would also recommend it to couples without. The fact that there are (almost) daily cooking classes makes it easy to meet people. To summarize: a recommendation from my heart! We will meet again <3

One of my favorite stays at a hostel. I loved the hospitality. Banda, the staff, has one of the best hospitality I've experienced. They are very accommodating, friendly, and puts a lot of heart into making our stay an enjoyable one. Loved there's breakfast and dinner and it's easy to meet other travelers. Space is really clean and comfortable too. Was able to arrange for Sigiriya and Knuckles Mountain tour here.

Our stay here was fantastic. The White Lodge is a great location from Kandy and there is a nice walk along the lake to get there. The accommodation is clean and spacious and the breakfast was scrumptious. Eranga was a wonderful host and helped us to arrange a pick up from the airport. Highly recommended.
