We had such a lovely stay at Villa Thamburu. The whole premise is just amazing. Very boutique but everything was 5 star. A lot of thought has gone into create such a beautiful sanctuary. The little touches - like locally made Barefoot linen robes etc really added to the 'premium' feel of the place. The staff went out of their way to accomodate us - even tracking my daughter down a boogie board so she could have fun on the beach. The breakfasts were amazing - and the quality of the food to die for. Can't wait to make it back - absolutely 5 (if not 6 stay) boutique accomodation on a stunning beach.

Our stay in Ahu Bay was truly amazing. The room's interior perfectly suited our needs, and the private swimming pool was a real highlight for me. The peaceful atmosphere in the area added to the overall experience. However, what truly made our stay memorable was the outstanding staff. Nelson prepaired a fabulous meal. I was only able to stay one night because they were sold out but it was an amazing stay there. The bed was super comfy!

Ample space with lounge area, 2 comfortable beds and a long balcony. Also, spotless with great decoration and crisp bedsheets. 2 AC units, Staff and owners were very helpful. Modern bathroom with shower cubicle and a jacuzzi bathtub. Very clean. A decent new swimming pool. Cooked us delicious dinner which we loved. Hotel overlooking a beautiful river where we watched speed boating, jet skiing and other rides. We also went on boat safari. Stunning views. Very near to Aluthgama Bus Station. We love it. Will go back.
