Highgrove Estate was everything we were looking for and more. The house is located outside of Nuwara Eliya with stunning 360 degree views. The house is stunningly decorated, the lounge and bedrooms are incredibly comfortable and the food was amazing, especially the breakfasts which we ate outside in the lawn and most of all the Sri Lankan curries. The were the best I’ve ever eaten. what tops off a stay at this beautiful home is the staff and manager of the property who make you feel warmly welcomed at all times and who go out of their way to make your stay so enjoyable. we loved this retreat away from the hustle and bustle (which you can get to easily with a driver or Tuk tuk). the perfect place to relax if you have a busy life and really enjoy nature and the hill country.

Everything was perfect. We had a spacious and cozy room with a modern bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and very extensive. Moreover, the staff was so great. We felt super welcome there and they took great care of us. We stayed 4 nights and we were the only ones most of the time, which is why we got a better room for a cheaper price. The city centre is a 20min walk away while there are also other restaurants and a supermarket only 10min walk away. We would recommend this accommodation to everyone.

The staff is nice, I do not remember the name but the girl was so nice to the guest, she offered us coffee with ginger cookies several times for free. It was the first time we had nice service like that, The boy was also very friendly. The food is awesome, the best dinner and breakfast we had during our stay in Sri Lanka.

Extremely lovely and accomodating hosts. Comfortable beds with clean linen, towels. Soaps provided. Kitchen available for making tea (tea, coffee available), salad. The most beautiful and hospitable hotel ived visited globally , food excellent, staff superb , rooms clean . Food again I cannot rate highly enough. This hotel screams old English etiquette with a modern touch . Really one of the best hotels and I highly recommend. We are used to luxury in Dubai and this hotels service and the hotel its self didn’t disappoint!

    Wonderful home with courteous staffs. Food was awesome. Mr Johnson was very helpful and accomodative to all our request. They even made a sweet balloon decorations and prepared a cake for my parents anniversary.. We were all truly touched. The house was very clean, comfortable beds & clean linens & towels being replaced everyday. It was more like a home away from home.
