Location: unbeatable. In literally 2 minutes you are in a nice and not crowded beach. Staff: nice, polite and helpful. The owner was even speaking Italian fluently and we really enjoyed talking with him and the staff. They even cooked a delicious local dinner for us. Room: big and clean, with a nice balcony from where you can see the sea.

It was the best homestay in Sri Lanka. The house is situated in a calm place, outside of city. It’s possible to rent a bicycle to explore the area and beaches. The owners are very hospitable and kind. The room was clean, comfortable and with good AC. For a request, it’s possible to order home cooked food.

We spent three nights at Sunrise Pasikuda and it was perfect. The hotel is immaculate and our room (we had a family suite) was spacious and comfortable with a huge bathroom and two toilets, and a big balcony. We loved the little extras like the fruit plate and flowers on the bed. The location is great. The hotel has a huge pool which leads down to the hotel beach which is clean and quiet with a beach bar. You can do water sports and we did a boat trip that took us to local reefs with excellent snorkelling. We had all our meals here and I can’t fault the food. Breakfast and dinner are buffets with wide choice and there was entertainment every evening. We liked playing pool although the pool cues need an update. What made our stay so special was the staff at the hotel. They are so warm and welcoming and just want you to have a great time. We will definitely return.

It's was one of the best places we stayed at in all of srilanka. The rooms was perfect for 2 people with an extra large bed. The ac was a welcome addition in the hot afternoon temperatures. It's a short walking distance to the beach and would highly recommend for their wide open spaces in front of every room and even though there were other guests we barely felt cramped. The two kids with us really appreciated the large garden but because it was hot we mainly sat back and enjoyed the views. Usha and her team were so sweet we almost decided to stay back in Pasikudah only because we felt at home. Best place ever! Great value for money and no doubt we will return.

A secluded and relaxing place. Villa is was very spacious and well appointed. Joseph the host was very accommodating. The accommodation is right on the beach. Watch the fishermen haul in the nets in the morning. Meals were very good although not cheap. A little bit out of the way but if you want total relaxation, seclusion and a peaceful stay at a very reasonable price for the area this is highly recommended. The touches of candle lit on the terrace at night, flower pond at the entrance of the villa, nice eating area all add to the atmosphere.

Lovely balcony, polite and friendly family business. Raj shared his local knowledge and they loaned me a bicycle which was fun. The palms and trees glow in the sun, emphasising the balcony and bird song. The whole family are good at listening to the guest and tailoring the experience for them.

Very new property behind Kalkuda beach and 10min walk from Pasikuda beach Our deluxe room was huge with amazing view. Great breakfast included and we also had dinner twice there. Staff was very friendly and helpful, always theee for us. We will highly recommend!

The staff and owner went above and beyond to help out with anything we needed. They even organized a quick repair of our vehicle! We felt welcome from the first second. The pool and all other facilities were spotless clean, the room spacious. Breakfast and dinner were amazing. The beach is a 5min walk away.

My husband and I recently spent three wonderful nights at this hotel and we are already planning our next visit. The accommodation was impeccable - clean, spacious, and well-appointed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and we especially appreciated the chairs outside where we could enjoy our morning coffee while soaking in the serene surroundings. This hotel offers the perfect beachside retreat, with proximity to both Kalkudah and Passikudah beaches. Being situated near these two stunning beaches offers guests the convenience of exploring and enjoying the beauty of two distinct coastal paradises. The food at the hotel exceeded our expectations, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. Every moment spent at the hotel was enjoyable, thanks to the excellent service and attention to detail from the staff. In dinning area, restaurant manager Mr. Bandara and his staff were given very good service. Room is large and clean. Garden, pool and beach area are well maintain. Staff were very friendly. Spa also very good.

    Very clean, comfortable, staff amazing, good Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Very nice food, good choice of it. Location is ok, nice beach 15 min walk. Next to hotel beach full of corals, you must have water shoes there to swim. We chose to walk further down the beach where sand is beautiful, 30min walk very nice beach for snorkelling, lots of colourful fishes

    Location is wonderful facing the beautiful sea adjacent to the Pasikuda public beach area. The room was spacious, comfortable including a luxurious bathroom. The food was excellent with lot of varieties . There is a nice view from the restaurant facing the pool and the sea. The pool is ideal for relaxation. Hotel has a gym and the spa also.
