Whether it was assisting with money exchange, arranging a pickup at any hour, or offering 24/7 support during our travels, their help was unwavering. No request was too big or small, and their readiness to solve any challenge made our trip seamless and stress-free. What truly set this stay apart was the personal connection they fostered. The owners introduced us to their own family, sharing stories and laughter as if we were old friends. They even organized a fantastic jeep safari at a budget-friendly rate and personally drove us to Sigiriya in their tuk-tuk, adding a personal touch to these adventures. But the highlight was being included in their family celebrations. During the Sri Lankan New Year, they welcomed us into their home for a vibrant, heartfelt celebration filled with traditional food, music, and joy. Beyond that, they frequently invited us for dinners and breakfast, making us feel like cherished relatives rather than guests. Beautifully designed and serene gem of a hotel with a quiet atmosphere and professional and helpful staff. The food at the lodge restaurant alone would be enough reason to come (back) here. We had some of the best roast chicken & curry here of our whole trip! The pool offers a nice escape from the heat. Overall a highly recommended stay!

The owner picked us up at the bus stop and welcomed us with a fresh drink. We were happy to stay at this villa. The room has everything you need, the ac, the fan and it was very clean. It is located a bit far from the center but we liked it even more, because it was super calm. The owner also dropped us at the temple entrance and picked us up from there on his tuktuk all at the price of pick me app. Then the other day he drove us to sigiriya and even packed us a breakfast to go (tip: put it in your backpack), showed us other places on the way back and then helped us arrange a jeep trip to the national park with the elephants. The breakfast and dinner we had there were delicious. The staff is extremely polite and friendly!

Whatever I say would be insufficient. They are very helpful and friendly. You can arrange the tour and car you want. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the breakfast is very good. You can see a lot of squirrels from the balcony of your room and you can also watch the monkeys while having breakfast. The staff and the owner will do their best to help you.

I had a wonderful time at this lovely homestay. I was picked up from the bus station and the rest of the days also taken everywhere for a small price with the owner's tuktuk. A very nice man who helps you with everything. He thinks along with you and goes out with you or waits for you. His wife and daughters are also very nice and the food is delicious and can be adjusted to your dietary requirements. I highly recommend this place, especially for women traveling alone!

Perfect location for visiting different sites in the area, rooms were spotless and comfortable. The owners are the nicest people you could wish for. They were very helpful when we planned our sightseeing tours and also organised different tuktuk transport for us. Breakfasts and dinners were the best we have eaten in Sri Lanka and we learned quite a bit about Sri Lankan cuisine..

Everything was perfect. The family is very nice. They are always trying to feel you like home. I could arrange with my host 3 tours to places I wanted to see, so it was very convinient for me. The room is comfortable, the breakfast is exceptional, and also they prepared a typical Sri Lanka's meal for me and for the other 4 guests for free. He offered to pick me up with no extra charge at the bus station, but as I was moving by car, it was not necessary. He helped me to take the bus to Kandy, using his tuk-tuk taking me to the bus stop and also helping me to take the correct bus, and all for free too. I strongly recommend this place to everybody
