Nice little room away from the busy area. We had someone drive us in a tuk tuk to and from the room to the main hotel and main area for breakfast and other things we needed. Andrew the manager was really helpful with everything we needed

This is easily one of the most beautiful boutique hotels I've stayed at. Recently renovated, no expense has been spared to bring the Colonial mansion back to life. The attention to detail is remarkable. All the services are extraordinary and if I ever have a special occasion in Sri Lanka it will be at the Grand Walawwa.

Lovely serene grounds with some very new individuals villas - some with a pool and some without. Super clean, nice staff and great location if you drive your own Tuktuk or are happy to book one for transport to Pinnawala (10 mins drive away).

We had a great time at the Cube accommodation! We arrived around 9 pm and the host made us a great dinner. In the morning, we were greeted with a delicious breakfast on the terrace with a view of the forest and the pool. The rooms are large and clean, modernly decorated. Since it was a holiday and we had problems finding transportation, the host offered to drive us wherever we needed, first to Pinnawala, the elephant orphanage, and then to Sigiriya, which is almost a 3-hour drive away.

Wow, I really recommend this place. The owner was super super helpful and really nice. I never had an experience like this before. It was our first night in Sri Lanka and he helped us with transportation (we came by public bus). He told us where to go etc. The room was really nice. He borrowed us an adapter extra blanket and also a mosquito net. We were with him to elephants, bets and waterfall. All the time he asked us if we needed something. Even after accommodation he told us that he will help us if we need it. We also got pick up from the bus station.

The best place to relax and enjoy the nature. We tried Yoga program and Ayurvedic herbal massage in the evening. It is possible to arrange the tour to Robinhood village, Robinhood rock, tea plantations, tea factory, Ayurveda herbal garden. Everything is well organised. I recommend Rocksana Fortress in 100%!!!

What a family, and what a place! As a couple we have travelled quite extensively and can honestly say: never have we been treated with such great hospitality. From tour guiding and cooking to being great company and exceptional hosts; Anushka and his family checks all the boxes. Very lovely family, Ravi, his wife and mother are so nice and try their absolute best to give you a perfect stay. Arrange Tuktuks, cook tasty meals and help with anything you need. It‘s in the middle of the jungle with a beautiful view. Their are no windows, so it may be loud during the night when the dogs bark, so bring along some ear plugs.
