Me and one of my office colleague stayed at house of sincerity for three nights and I must say the place is really comfy. The place is so close to Maharagama town ( just walking distance to Wattegedara junction) and our stay was really great. The room has a pantry with gas cooker, microwave, mini fridge and other cooking stuffs which was really helpful. Akil, the owner is so supportive, friendly and assures the safety of the tenants. Will defenitly choose the place in future as well.

The location is beautiful - in a leafy suburb of Colombo where the pace is gentle. The gardens are delightful and made such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The guesthouse itself is special - open pavilion-style lounge area with an indoor courtyard letting in natural light. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious. There's a choice of western or local breakfast, and if you feel adventurous, the hosts explain ingredients, how to prepare and eat the breakfast. It's honestly so delicious. The hosts are friendly, kind and knowledgeable. It was easy to communicate and to come and go as you need. Restaurants nearby are walking distance for lunch / dinner. It's easy for tuktuks or taxis to get you there and away as you need with attractions like Barefoot very nearby. If you're travelling alone, it's perfect - you feel safe and comfortable to spend time alone or engage with hosts and other guests as you like.

My stay at the Sheraton Colombo was nothing short of spectacular. I was greeted with warm hospitality and a level of professionalism that truly sets this hotel apart. An exceptionally clean and spacious room in a quiet and green area outside Colombo. The bed and pillows were lovely and comfortable, which made for a restful night. There was a fridge and small kitchen area in the room, with a kettle, cups, plates, and basic utensils. The room had a TV, fan, and air conditioner. The bathroom is modern, with a lovely hot and cold walk-in shower. Soap and shampoo were provided. There was a large lounge and dining area separate to the sleeping area, available for my use. There was also a lovely veranda / balcony off the bedroom, with a table and 2 chairs to sit on. Gayathri was friendly and welcoming, and we had a lovely discussion upon my arrival. Breakfast is provided, but I left too early in the morning to enjoy this lovely addition.
