Staying with Maximus at Seabay Resort was a true delight. It’s not luxury in the European way, but the kind of luxury that really matters: peace, simplicity, and genuine care. Our apartment was spotless and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the endless sea and direct access to the beach. Every morning, Maximus spoiled us with a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. The beach feels untouched and wonderfully quiet, and just a short walk away there’s a calm bay perfect for swimming. With the Pick Me app, getting around—even from the airport—is easy and affordable. A hidden gem for anyone seeking tranquility, warmth, and authenticity.

We had an amazing stay at The Cottage, everything was exceptional. The rooms are lovely and the pool area is fantastic! The hosts were so lovely and helpful, we would definitely come back if we are in Negombo. It is a beautiful oasis away from the streets of the town. Thank you!!

Amazing hotel. We only stayed a few nights but wished we could have stayed longer. Sonja and Bernard were so kind and welcoming, and their 2 dogs are the sweetest. The rooms have all the amenities one needs and the place is located in a very relaxing and calm part of Negombo. We would definitely come again if given the chance.

It's a great place to start or end your stay in beautiful Sri Lanka. Only 30 minutes away from the busy airport, you arrive through a beautiful alley of mangrove trees to be greeted by the great team of Ging Oya. Imasha, Romesh, Nilantha and all the other staff make you feel right at home. The food is freshly prepared and tastes great. The pool is clean, large and a nice way to cool down. If you like nature and some quiet time, you should definitely plan to stay at Ging Oya. I know, I will again next time!

Phenomenal hotel to start our holiday in Sri Lanka. The hotel is very small (5 rooms only) and every room has its own pool. We stayed in the peacock villa which is the largest I think. More than enough room for our family of 4. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The floating breakfast option was so nice, definitely recommend that!

The first night stying of our Sri Lanka trip. The couple of the hotel owner are amazing, so friendly, turned on the air-conditioner of our room before our arrival. And prepared the dinner for us even we arrive a bit late night. The room is very clean and with good view. The shower hot water was functionally well.

The place was very unique. Simply one of the most outstanding places with much more freedom to spend your time. Staff is very helpful indeed. Sea view with sound of the waves and wind add up some aesthetic flavour to the enjoyment. Everything was fine for the budget and obviously with no worries.
