Max and his wife are just great hosts, very helpful in every way. The location is great, you are really right on the beach, which is absolutely not busy, for days you don't see any tourist ever. Along with that comes that there is no restaurant nearby, but Max might lend you his bycicle, and in 5 minutes you are there. You can also ask Max, they cook for you.

We had an amazing stay at The Cottage, everything was exceptional. The rooms are lovely and the pool area is fantastic! The hosts were so lovely and helpful, we would definitely come back if we are in Negombo. It is a beautiful oasis away from the streets of the town. Thank you!!

Villa Taprobane was our first stop in Sri Lanka and it was perfect. The family is very nice. They gave us a lot of advice for our trip and helped us with the organization. I felt like at home. Also, the breakfast was very tasty. We were provided with a bike to explore the beach and the village.

    The place was very unique. Simply one of the most outstanding places with much more freedom to spend your time. Staff is very helpful indeed. Sea view with sound of the waves and wind add up some aesthetic flavour to the enjoyment. Everything was fine for the budget and obviously with no worries.
