Ogi, our hotel manager was awesome! From the start his warm welcome and service was outstanding. He recommended the best restuarants and activities and made our stay in Budva so memorable. Our stay at Katamare Hotel was fabulous. It is a really beautiful and well-designed hotel that exeeded our expectations from start to finish; and its friendly and thoughtful staff (with special mention for the Food & Beverages Manager) from Reception to the cleaning team, truly went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and relaxing. The hotel is located right on the beach and has its own section for hotel guests. The restaurant was great, with some very lovingly prepared menus (well-priced for the quality) and the breakfast was also good. We had no issues with construction noise (mentioned in some previous reviews): for sure there are hotels being built all around, but there was no building work being done when we stayed.

The best hotel in Montenegro near the old town. We lived in the amazing 2 levels penthouse room with a wide terrace, with a stunning view of the old city and the bay. Checked in early, upgrading room, as soon as we arrived. Everything was great in the hotel: location, nearby restaurants and shops, it has its own access to the beach, provide sunbeds and towels. Carefully cleaned the room every day, snow white bathrobes and linen, served breakfast, delicious cafe on the beach, pool, spa and sauna, everything was comfortable. Thank you very much Milka on the reception for hospitality and attentiveness. She greeted us warmly, so there were pleasant impressions and memories. And to all the staff of the hotel for the excellent comfort!

The serene sea, the boats gently swaying in the harbor, and the historic charm of the city created a peaceful and almost poetic start to each day — moments we will always treasure. Breakfast was an absolute feast — offered à la carte, with an impressive variety and impeccable service. A heartfelt thank you to Atakan, whose warm demeanor and graceful presentation turned each breakfast into a moment of joy. His kindness and attention made a real difference in our mornings. The hotel’s private bay, accessible by shuttle, was a highlight of our trip — peaceful, pristine, and perfectly organized. We would also like to sincerely thank Ozan at the beach for making us feel truly special with his constant attentiveness and refined service.
