The Tropical tree is a great place to stay. It has its own beach. The rooms are very clean. The food is very good. Always well cooked. We had half board and it was a good choice. There are not a lot of other restaurants on the island. The Christmas beach BBQ party was great. We also had grilled fish other days. The stuff is very friendly and always ready to help. We take 2 boat trips and they were very interesting and well organized. We went for turtles trip and fish feeding. We didn’t see turtles but visited other interesting places for snorkeling. We would like to thank the owner Jabu for our stay.

The rooms are just as beautiful as shown in pictures and also provide a yoga mat and a beach bag. The whole building feels really spacious, bright and open and has its own Bikini beach area right in front, where you can just hang out or go snorkeling or stand up paddling. You get daily updates about weather, tides and activities. Even if the island is really remote and luckily not touristy, you can pretty much do any activity like snorkeling trips, fishing trips, dolphin cruise etc, all carefully prepared and done by the owner Ismail himself. On top of that there were complimentary activities done by Ismail such as house reef snorkeling and short thematic walks, so you could truly get to know the island and Maldivian culture. The island itself is also just super beautiful. With only a small village, half of the island is pretty green jungle and the bikini beach area spans across a wide part of the island. You cannot walk all around the isla nd, which makes it perfect to have nice little isolated beach areas to yourself. Also the house reef of the island is amazing with so many different fish - it’s just a dream for snorkeling. If you are lucky you can even see Manta rays right from the beach or from the SUP. What really makes this place special is the people who go above and beyond so that you can have your perfect holiday - from fresh coconut right from the tree or amazing chai tea, to organizing trips that are not regularly offered. If you have any questions or need anything, you can always reach out to the wonderful team and everybody will be warm and welcoming. The house offers ample space for everyone to spread out and relax. With three separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a spacious living room, kitchen, dining area, and a backyard complete with a patio and open-air shower, there is a plenty of room to unwind. The house is not only spacious but also in perfect condition, professionally designed with all the amenities you could ask for on a vacation. From a modern TV to some fun games and even a karaoke system, there's entertainment for everyone; dishwasher and modern washing machine facilitate the routine. Cooking is a breeze thanks to the well-equipped kitchen. Plus, the wooden grill in the backyard is perfect for cooking meat or fresh seafood. Located in a beautiful area, you'll be close to great bikini beaches, including one just 3 min away. Another stunning bikini beach is just a 15-minute walk or a quick 5-minute transfer ride, courtesy of our helpful host. The locals are incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the charm of the island. There are several restaurants & a couple of shops (one is 1,5 min away from the house) with the basic groceries. The service provided by our host was excellent and reminded more a high quality hotel service. From promptly answering our messages during the booking process, greeting us in Male, helping with transfer to Fehendhoo to arranging grocery deliveries from Male the very next day, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Daily transfers to the distant beach, purchaising fresh seafod for us as well as trips to neighboring islands and snorkeling tours, were all arranged with ease.

Wonderful Stay at The Corbin Guesthouse Our stay at The Corbin Guesthouse was amazing. The place is beautifully maintained, with a lovely garden and clean, comfortable rooms that are tidied daily. The family owners have put so much care into every detail, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Service was outstanding—every request was handled with kindness and efficiency. The owners even gave us a free tour around the island, sharing insights about local life. They were always friendly, supportive, and happy to chat. Overall, an excellent experience with exceptional hospitality. We would gladly return!

I do recommend this place. It is little island and you can feel alone sometimes. Of all the guests houses this residence is the most luxury. Edit. 10.2023. Really kind manager and cheerful chef. Bikini beach distance is about 15 minutes walk. In the evening you can use swimming pool. I think the only one in the island. They change the main chef and he is from Sri Lanka now. Ask him for cook anything and he will manage this. Rooms are comfortable and air conditioning is clean and good. I recommend to see two close islands. Gendering and Fulhadoo

Really natural feel and beautiful aesthetic. Good location, close to shops, harbour and beaches. Staff were incredible. Our chef Bucci prepared us delicious meals. Lea is great coordinator and provided us with great tours and information about island, food and other inquires. All the staff is worth of mention for their hospitality and positive energy: Yugi, DeenIslam, Surya. They cleaned our rooms regularly and provided us with transport and interesting talks.

Very beautiful and modern property. Definitely the most luxurious, nicest place to stay onFulhadhoo. The hosts were extremely kind, offered us snorkelling gear for free and it’s possible to book various activities with them like manta and turtle snorkelling etc.

Its a great place with a good location. Guys were truly helpful with transfer and everything we should know about the island. Furthermore, they have a scuba diving point where you may get the gear. The room was nice and cosy and the smell inside is so fresh. In addition, I would like to notice that the restroom is perfect, because it has a cute tropical shower and some plants inside. Looks stunning. I'm higly recommending this place. Would like to visit again oneday

    Overall Tropical Tree was peaceful place to stay - though the whole island was more calm than many other local islands in Maldives. We really liked the main building where the breakfast was served and the reception was placed. The location was really convenient for the harbour and the island’s few shops for a little grocery. Reasonable priced with everything you need!
