A Truly Unforgettable Stay in Paradise! Our stay at this beautiful resort in the Maldives was an absolute dream. The hotel is tucked away among tall palm trees, just 10 meters from a stunning white-sand beach with crystal-clear water. The entire island felt like a hidden paradise. One of the highlights of our trip was swimming with manta rays in the incredible Hanifaru Bay – a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will never forget. Every day, the hotel provided us with clean beach towels, snorkeling masks, and fins, making it so easy to enjoy the sea and the underwater beauty. The staff were exceptional – always kind, professional, and genuinely caring. A special thank you to Sumesh, who went above and beyond every single day to make our stay perfect. He solved every little issue quickly and with a smile, making us feel completely looked after. We also want to highlight the head of dining, who ensured every meal was fresh, delicious, and beautifully served. The service in the restaurant was just as great as the food itself. For the price, the hotel was more than fair – clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. The island is small but absolutely magical, ideal for relaxation, nature lovers, and ocean adventures. We left with unforgettable memories and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful escape with top-notch service.

From arrival, Shihab, the incredible owner, welcomed us warmly and ensured every detail of our trip was seamless. Whether it was arranging transfers, planning excursions, or adding thoughtful personal touches, his hospitality was outstanding. 🌿A Tranquil Garden Retreat🏡 True to its name, Bageechaa (meaning "Garden") is a beautiful oasis. The central garden creates a calm, relaxing atmosphere, perfect for dining and unwinding. The modern, stylish design gives it an upmarket resort feel at an affordable price. 🚤 Easy Transfers & Convenient Location ✈️ Shihab arranged a speedboat transfer for us and personally picked us up from the harbour. Dharavandhoo also has its own airport, with 25-minute flights from Malé, making travel effortless. We took the speedboat in and flew back—both organised flawlessly by Shihab. 🌊A Paradise for Marine Lovers🐢🦈 The island is near Hanifaru Bay, where majestic manta rays gather seasonally, and close to a whale shark hotspot. The host and all the staff were extremely helpful. They have provided all the information I asked for before the arrival and they have facilitated the snorkeling trips for us. When we left, they also wrote to us to make sure we have arrived ok to the new location. Lovely! The room was clean and big enough. The bathtub in the room was a big plus.

Staying on this local island was an incredible experience that we will cherish forever. Unlike the more touristy islands, Kihadhoo had a more authentic and serene vibe, and the locals were genuinely kind and welcoming. Our host was exceptional in every way. Not only was he the director of the local school, but he also managed the accommodation as a side project with utmost care and dedication. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. For meals, our host arranged dining at a newly opened local café. While the café still has room for improvement in terms of price-to-quality ratio, I’m confident it will grow into a fantastic spot over time. What truly sets this island apart is its breathtaking coral reef and vibrant marine life. Our host also organized unforgettable snorkeling and diving trips with a dive center on a neighboring island. These excursions were simply magical (especially in Hanifaru bay)! However, having a dive center directly on the island (which is planned soon) will make exploring the underwater world even more convenient. This island offers an authentic, peaceful getaway with stunning natural beauty and warm hospitality. We would love to return someday and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique Maldivian experience.
