The hotel is stunning, very high quality with everything you need. The restaurant and bar/terrace offers a great menu and prices are reasonable. The staff were all incredibly helpful, polite and friendly. We dealt a lot with Riya during our stay who was fantastic and professional. We’d absolutely return to stay if we are ever back in Butwal!

It was a great place to stay, very close to the Maya Devi Temple. The owner is a very sweet lady. She runs it with her son. The lady did my laundry. On the day when I left to walk to the busstop she even walked with me for a while, cause it was dark. So nice! I really enjoyed staying there a lot.

Friendly owners and staff. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The hotel is in a very quiet open area but close to Gate 5 and the village.

In an area where good hotels are in short supply, the Bhairahawa Garden Resort stands heard and shoulders above the rest. It is modern, well appointed and clean with superb staff.     I had a great stay at Lumbini Village Lodge, it was my first stop in Nepal and the staff made my stay so comfortable. They helped me get the correct sim for my time in the country, and plan out a route for the best places to visit whilst here. THe room was spacious and very affordable, and the property as a whole was very clean. I cannot recommend staying here enough.

    Pocket friendly hotel at a good location. Room was spacious with all basic amenities and clean. It has a Cafe/ Restaurant on the ground floor. Which is a bonanza to a traveling party. Most memorable was the warmth of the Manager Mr. Deepak and other hotel staff. I will stay in the same hotel if there is likelihood to visit Lumbini in future.

    I have travelled a lot around India and Nepal in the last 10 years and I have to say, this is THE BEST Hotel EVER!!! It’s a family business and you can tell that the owners care about their customers and the hotel. It was very very clean! For me personally, it’s always an issue while I travel. It’s never enough clean for me, but at hotel Kanthak it was perfect! The location was ideal to visit Lumbini ( 5 minutes walk) and after a busy day you can retire at the hotel in a agriculture setting ( field rice). It was beautiful and peaceful.

    Mosquitoes galore unfortunately in at least one of the rooms, and no mosquito netting. So if you're sensitive to that stuff, you've been warned. Beds gave off a very budget feeling, linen/pillow sheets very thin and easily came off giving an unclean feeling. Place do come with wifi and hot water. In terms of value, this place leaves a lot to be desired as more expensive in locations in both Kathmandu and Pokhara provided a whole more bang for the buck than did this place.
