Clean bright great location parking spot good wifi. The place has been stocked out well with a kitchen dishwasher coffee machine etc all clean and new. The supermarket is 2 mins walk as are the couple of pubs and restaurants. Lots to do in the area

Jules is the perfect host. We were welcomed on arrival. And our request for separate beds was fixed immediately. Information to access local amenities was provided. It's a nice 5-10 minute walk from the back of the garden into the village, which is a charming hub for locals and tourists alike. The apartment is very comfortable and well appointed. The outdoor seating is undercover and looks over a sweet cottage garden.

Beautiful property and what a stunning location, absolute gem and will return very soon as me and my partner loved everything about it. Clean, had everything you need and the views…. Wow ! Best of all were the hosts Vicki and Clint…. Salt of the earth people who went way above and beyond with us, they made our stay that little bit better than anywhere I’ve stayed. Friendly, welcoming and we even shared a drink together whilst chatting all things life. I’d urge anyone wanting a get away in Matakana and surrounding areas to book this place. Also they have the best little bunch of pugs and a stunning boxer that were so friendly and lovable

This property was absolutely perfect! The host was incredibly responsive and attentive, making our stay seamless and enjoyable. The location was ideal—right on the waterfront, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The home itself had a warm and cosy vibe, spotless cleanliness, and thoughtful touches that made it feel so welcoming. Everything we could possibly need was provided, including a delightful surprise of free cider! The amenities were fantastic, and it was clear every detail had been carefully considered. We truly loved everything about this property and would highly recommend it for a relaxing family getaway!

    Location is right on the high street but there isn't a great deal of noise from outside. Good quality linens and toiletries. The fact it had a Nespresso machine for that coffee hit was good and the welcome homemade biscuits were delicious. Great communication with the hosts too.
