I travelled here on the bike trail from Paeroe. The house is a great location for the trail, town and going to the beach. Having arrived early and soaking wet, Julie met and walked me to her house 4 hours early! She was so welcoming, and as it was her house, I was glad she was there, so I knew where things were, and she couldn’t have been more welcoming. We even enjoyed a film together. Whilst it did rain, Julie was the ray of sunshine for me on this trip

Love the thermal pools & hot tubs and the fact it was included in the price of camping The camp spots next to the river near the toilets looked to be in a fantastic spot. We chose a cabin this time as the weather forecast wasn't looking good, but will definitely book again and camp Katikati is a cute little town, not far to drive from Mount Maunganui either for a nice little weekend getaway The facilities were very clean Lots of things for kids
