Guys, it's a jewel of Jebel Shams! One of the best stays. The house is new, very clean, with two spacious rooms, friendly host, and amazing views 360 around. Hot shower, comfy XXXXL size bed (I stayed in a room with 1 bed). The guys were extremely helpful guiding us and meeting us at the house, also we asked if they can do a tour in the morning, and it was a great experience: a nice traditional breakfast with coffee with a Grand Canyon view + a hike + a wadi riding. AMAZING. Highly recommend. The nature around there is something. Also, if you'll arrive early, you can ask to arrange a dinner with a million dollars sunset view. No kidding.

The location of the property is at the start of Balcony walk. We stayed one night and started Balcony walk at 8am. Before groups. We returned at 11.30 and took a shower. Our car was parked in front of the room. For getting there you definitely need 4WD car. Last few kilometers are realy bad. There is posibility for local breakfast for 3orm per person. There is also a small kitchen where you can prepare a breakfast on your own. The host was friendly. He explain us everything. He was waiting for us with tea.

The location is great, in the middle of mountains, ver nice view and short ride from the Balcony walk. The owners are very nice. Both breakfast and dinner (5 OMR/person) were delicious. Both rooms are spacious and have bathrooms.

Absolutely stunning view over the canyon. Really different type of accomodation. Excellent starting point for hiking. The food was great, very friendly staff that waited for our arrival in the evening as the trip through the mountains did take longer. Clean rooms with all amenities needed. Be sure you have a good all wheel car if you drive up on your own.

We really enjoyed our stay: the traditional architecture of the house is stunning, and the rooms and facilities were extremely clean and comfortable. Lack of wifi was not perceived as a minus, but as a plus: it's a great choice to make visitors focus on the surrounding beauties and live a more authentic experience (eg by stargazing and gathering on the private fireplace). The staff has been very friendly and helpful. Finally, the location is very convenient as it's close to many of the most important trails and viewpoints of the area.

    The location was great and the place was very clean. The host was very welcoming. The host made sure that he was aware of when we would arrive so that he could meet us and ensure that all our questions were answered. We were welcomed with qahwa, fresh fruits, biscuits and dates which was very nice. We picked the place because we wanted to take our dog with us, so it was great that the place was pet friendly!

    Location is perfect, very close to Balcony Walk. The host are amazing - very generous and hospitable (we did not have a 4WD car and they enquired about our car and picked us up from the road to ensure safe drive for a very reasonable price). We were greeted with coffee, dates and fruit. The rooms itself are freshly renovated and very clean.

    Hosts were very welcoming and provided water, coffee, and fruits. Nice terrace, ideal for having your meals. Great location, making it a short drive to all relevant hiking spots and viewpoints. No 4WD needed to reach the property.

    Basic amenities well provided ..... "tented". accommodation was comfortable with en suite facitities...staff friendly and hard working . Location quite amazing especially if approached "off `Road " from Rustat .

    The location is ideal for visiting Jebel Shams and the Balcony Walk. All of the staff were very helpful. The buffet evening meal was good, but the desert was unimaginative, breakfast was excellent.
