Everything ! Saïd and his team are really kind. We had a warm welcome at the camp with good coffee and food. The tent are comfortable with everything we needed. Dinner was good. We had a wonderful stay at the camp. Thank you very much for everything !!!

Ali, his brother and their staff are so eager making every guest feel comfortable and welcoming. They are so attentive and it is obvious that they think carefully about creating everyone a welcoming atmosphere: Dinner and breakfast were great, the tents are arranged cosy and comfortable and with enough distance to the other camp guests. The activities are very cool (camel ride by sunset, day trip with a guide further into the desert) and the location of the camp is absolutely stunning! We felt so relaxed during our 2-nights-stay.

We had normal car so left ours at the gas station and were picked up by Ahmed who drove us to the camp. We specifically booked this camp to avoid hige amount of people. This camp has few tents with yout own toilet and shower. We had a family tent with hugh bed for us and nice beds for our kids. The bed sheets were so nice that I didn't even wanted to get out of my bed and neither our children 🙃 Dinner and breakfast were simple but completely fine and really enough. We had a central tent where people gather and played games or just simply exchanged ideas and tips for travelling through Oman. The gentleman taking care of this camp is so very polite and helpful. We enjoyed a 4x4 ride through the dunes with a sunset view and the next morning our kids did sandboarding and short ride on a kamel. We believe that if you come to the desert you should just try it the simple way and not to book a luxurious room/ house but a simple tent.

I came across La Duna when searching for a nice place for my Fiancé and me to stay. Out of all the camps I found, La Duna looked the most attractive, but I was initially a bit hesitant as I could not find any reviews about it. Some further research showed me that it was a brand-new camp, which explained the lack of reviews. I contacted them via their IG page and got a super friendly and supportive feedback from Mr. Nasser, the manager or owner of La Duna. Not only did he answer all my questions I had about La Duna, but he also helped me with ideas and suggestions for the other part of our 10 days Oman trip, which was an extremely valuable insight from a local and much more than I could have hoped for. So I decided to book 2 nights at La Duna and when we finally arrived there, our expectations were by far exceeded. It’s an absolutely stunning camp and extremely private, there is just one camp (tent) available for exclusive use in an incredible desert setting. Unlike nearly all the other camps, La Duna has a more modern approach and design, which we preferred over the somewhat awkward traditional camps with their black tents and weird carpets. La Duna is bright and clean and spacious, from inside more like a luxury hotel room than a tent, with a proper cooling AC, hot water and a strong water pressure in the shower. We were prepared for much worse, but at La Duna really everything worked as it should. Mr. Nasser and his team took extremely well care of us and delivered delicious meals to our camp. It cannot get more exclusive and if you are looking for a luxurious desert experience out of the ordinary, then La Duna is the place to go.

What can we say but “wow”. Staying in the desert with Salin and Alam looking after us was the best way to experience the Wahiba Sands. It was a perfect and authentic experience. Being greeted by the kids and Salin upon our arrival, the sunset camel ride, the outdoor sleeping platform and just the location, all exceeded our expectation. Alam’s food was great and we felt spoiled by him. He was amazing. They cared for our welfare and enjoyment. I would recommend staying here without any hesitation.

When the heavy rain and storm was coming the owner moved all people from the camp to modern apartenent to stay safe and dry. Camp has good atmosphere and you have some activities to try for extra money - especially dune bassin is cool

Beautiful camp with super friendly staff and a good price including delicious breakfast and dinner. Nice variety, also for vegetarians. We booked the driver as we didn't have a 4x4 car and the price was absolutely fair. After a super fun drive to the camp with a little dune bashing the driver took as on some dunes to see the sunset.
