This old colonial house is huge and you have lot of common areas to enjoy if you are just resting. Good common balconies with views too. Guillermo and Lola made us feel at home and were absolutely lovely. They cooked the food from their allotment for us and treated us with lot of love and care

Perfect place to sleep comfortably with no noise from the street. 10-15 mins walk to the center. It's ideal if you work online as there is an upper floor with a cafe setup, good tables/chairs, good WiFi and views. Also, you won't find this level of comfort within the same budget range. Very clean. And the beds are reaaaaally good and comfy! And Beto, the owner, will make your life easier. It's a no-brainer!

I had a fantastic time here. From early checking to hot breakfast to an amazing hot shower. Plus good laundry service. It was quiet, only a short walk from the plaza, restaurants, and shops. Highly recommend you stay here. It's located across the street from where it shows on the map.

I was working remotely from a bedroom with a balcony giving onto the main square which provided a nice view and light. I did not use the WIFI during the evenings but during the day it was strong enough for me to have three-person video calls. The receptionists took their time in answering my hundreds of questions: they gave me great advice on how to get to some points of interests independently rather than trying to sell me tour packages with their affiliated agency. Unfortunately I cannot comment on the breakfast as I was always leaving before it was served, however they were nice enough to remove it from my total price for the night.

Really good location, nicely designed boutique hotel. Restaurant and bar were exceptional, the chef and the bartender both deserve only praise. Hotel staff and management made our stay more than perfect, we really got spoiled by their kindness and personal care. Management were one of the few speaking English in the region. During our 3 week travel in Peru, Doréan was surely the best place we stayed and one of the best restaurants we ate at. Would go back any time.
