I arrived in Arequipa on Monday afternoon (30 December 2024), and twisted my ankle 5 minutes into my Walking Tour. I did not get a chance to see any of Arequipa’s attractions or celebrate New Year’s Eve. I stayed indoors for 2 days to heal my swollen ankle. The team took care of me in the following ways: * Moved my luggage from my room on the 4th floor to Ground floor (because the lift was not working) * Gave me ice (for my swollen ankle) in the morning, afternoon and night every day from Monday until Thursday * Served breakfast in my room on Tuesday and Wednesday (it was so delicious!) * Helped me to call LATAM and Copa Airlines for me to change and confirm my flights (I was on hold for a long time on multiple attempts) * Advised me on which Tours to take (and arranged for Ruta del Sillar) and restaurants to go to based on my limited mobility My heartfelt appreciation to everyone who was on duty during my stay: Milagros, Fiorela, José, Lino, Enrique, Favian, Jhorly, Nadhia & Saly. They took good care of me and made me feel at home when I was traveling alone and so far away from home.

There was scope to allow me to check-in early after a long journey - I was hugely grateful. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and the shower was perfect. The tasty breakfast is served on the roof terrace with a nice view. The location is superb - very close to the Santa Catalina Monastery. Laura the manager was friendly and extremely helpful.

10+++ We really loved our stay in the hotel and have already recommended it to friends visiting Peru in October. Beautifully designed boutique hotel with very comfortable and clean rooms. The multi-course breakfast is delicious and served under trees where you can spot hummingbirds. The food in the restaurant is also very good. Only a short walking distance from Arequipa old town. Amazing views on the surrounding mountains. The hotel cats are very cute. Would 100% stay again.

We‘re usually very picky when it comes to choosing our hotels during traveling, but sometimes we‘re surprised how much our expectations are even exceeded. Qasa Nomad in Arequipa is one of those rare cases. Unfortunately we only stayed one night and had a really good rate. But the amount of attention we were receiving from the staff was exceptional. The premises within an old building are beautiful and modern designed. There is a music room with a vinyl library. The rooms are quiet, brand new and modern with comfy beds and perfect showers. We were so lucky to talk to the owner of the place who couldn’t be more friendly and helpful and even introducing one of his chefs to us. Unfortunately due to timing reasons we were not able to have dinner at the restaurant, but would have loved to. Breakfast was unconventional and really great! That place is not just a hotel, it is an experience. Will come back if we should ever come to Peru again.

The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly and always around to help. They organised trips for us and greeted us with a smile at 3am when we set off for our Colca Canyon tour. The room was squeaky clean and bedding and towels were changed daily if required. The location is great, very quiet but just a short walk from the centre, and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Would stay again.
