I was absolutely thrilled with my stay at this hotel and can highly recommend it to all travelers. What impressed me most, however, was the helpfulness and accommodating nature of the owner, Justin. Had a lovely stay at this beachfront hotel. The room was very spacious, with a beautiful pool view, and the bathroom was equally roomy and well-designed. Breakfast had a wide variety of options to choose from. The location is fantastic—close to plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops, with tuk-tuks readily available. I’d definitely recommend staying here. Tip: go for a high-floor room on the left side—this gives you the best of both worlds: sunrise views from your doorway and a stunning sunset sky from your balcony.

Amazing location, very tranquil and relaxing. There is only 3 lofts so it never gets crowded. If you're looking for a place that offers luxury and tranquillity, this is such a gem! Being a couple, we found this resort fantastic! We stayed 4 nights here and used it as a base to explore Panglao and Bohol. From the moment of check-in, to the moment of check-out, everything was great. Even before we arrived, the communication from Mayana was fantastic over the booking app, and they were very responsive to all queries we had. We used the air conditioned van option to get to the resort from the Tagbilaran Port (30 mins drive), and were greeted with a welcome drink and room briefing. We ate in the restaurant three of the nights, as it was very handy after coming in late and having driven a lot on the bike. Each night the food was good. The Osterich dishes are unusual, and I enjoyed the burger Option. My girlfriend is vegetarian, so we really appreciated that the chef was able to make her a veggie curry one of the nights. The breakfast was great each morning. You get a choice between an American breakfast, pancakes, omelette, Filipino breakfast. The staff were really accommodating in trying their best to get you any specific options/extras that weren’t on the menu. For instance, they made poached eggs for me one morning, though not on the menu 😊 We rented a good scooter from here also and had a great time! I read the reviews mentioning the pool being ‘murky’ or ‘unclean’, but honestly we thought the pool was fab! - not only was it a nice size nd design, but it was the first pool in the Philippines we have had that has part just 5ft deep, but the deep part is actually deep and over your head at 7ft. We loved that, so it caters for every type of guest. The rooms are modern and spacious, as are the bathrooms. The bed is really comfy which is really important! The A/C is great and the rooms have tinted glass for privacy which was a nice touch. The safe is big enough to put a laptop in when you are out and about, and the balcony and little table and chairs on it are great with a lovely view over the pool. The staff are all so nice.

Everything is new and clean. They just opened recently. The room was huge. There is a beautiful garden with pond, with koi fishes. The restaurant is very good with many particular recipes, from Italy, Philippines, and sometimes a fusion between them. The staff was very smiley and accommodating.

I'm so glad that I stayed here. My host Anna was so helpful and kind, with plenty of advice on transportation and what to see and do. The dorm I stayed in was exceptionally clean and the bed was comfortable. They also have scooters for hire at a good rate too. This place represents really good value for money indeed. I was sad to leave at the end of my stay. Will definitely return here Thankyou Anna and family.

Our experience at villa formosa has been amazing. The ladies working there are super kind and really great coockers, the breakfast was delicious! The room is very clean and comfortable, we had the room with open bathroom and it was beautiful. They also offer private tuck tuck, motorbike rent and the islands tours.
