Staff are awesome, super helpful and nice to chat to them about the day and cool things about Taipei. Comfy beds, comfy pods, comfy hostel. Enjoy the craft/local beer downstairs and local food joints nearby. Facilities/amenities are great and easy to use as well. Will be back here again for sure, love Old Door Hostel & Bar - cheers :)

We recently stayed at The Dandy Hotel in Taipei and we were really impressed! Despite being a 3-star hotel, the service was definitely at a 4-star level. The staff went above and beyond – they even gave us a courtesy call for checkout time without us asking, and were super flexible with storing our bags before and after our stay. The room itself was a pleasant surprise. It was much bigger than what you typically get in Taipei, and spotlessly clean. The bed was really comfortable and we slept great – it was nice and quiet too. The bathroom was a highlight with amazing shower pressure and lovely lemongrass-scented toiletries. Just a heads up though – the shower is over the bath, which was quite narrow. There's a handrail to help you get in and out, but it might be tricky for older travelers. One thing I loved was being able to open the window for fresh air, though don't expect any views. The location was really convenient, just a short walk to the station. Breakfast was pretty average overall, but they did have some nice cakes. Oh, and if you're looking for last-minute gifts, they have some cute items like soaps and keyrings at reception – really came in handy for me! The only real downside was the breakfast not being anything special, but honestly, everything else made up for it. The fantastic service, clean and comfortable room, and convenient location make this place a gem. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Taipei!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Lore Hotel. The room was very spacious, tastefully designed, clean and had plenty of natural light. The hotel is located right next to an MRT station. Hotel provides free tasty snacks, as well as tea and filter coffee. We appreciated the free use of the washer/dryer. Staff was friendly and responsive to inquiries via the booking.com app. We would definitely stay here again!

The hostel was 5min away from the central station, very well located! It is well cleaned and also secure, there are enough showers and toilets to never have to wait. The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet. Also, the team was very helpful if needed! I recommend 100%, especially if you like quiet places after roaming around Taipei!

I loved the amenities this hostel had, the makeup area, and the laundry, and the tea and snacks area were so nice! Also the communal space to do work or eat was incredibly comfortable! I loved that they gave us nice slippers and a bathroom kit. It was really nice!
