I have never heard if Fred and Winnie's before, even though I have passed by not far from there for many, many years. I was very pleasantly surprised by the "bang for your buck" in the sense of the contained fresh room I had. With a fridge, TV, and very nice showering facilities, good view and all, i coukd not have asked for more. An extensive breakfast and easy order-in options from any restaurants in Kampala, it was excellent. On top if it all though, was the warm hospitality offered by the hosts. I would highly recommend this place.

The bathroom to me was the best room in the house. The whole place was nice and it was clean. Lovely view from the balcony, especially at night. I like that there was space to put a suitcase at the side of the bed near the wardrobe.

The apartment had such a warm and homely feel! The decor was unique and full of character, with beautiful lighting and little artistic touches everywhere. The place was spotless, the bed was super comfortable, and the location was peaceful but still close enough to everything I needed. Location was good, it is a gated building clean building. The apartment was of good size. The host was very welcoming and made our stay pleasent.
