Lots of attention to detail with facilities and the host. E.g. the host changed the TV to English for us before we arrived. There were spare adapters available (which we used during our stay because our checked baggage was lost at the airport). There were even spare toiletries in case you forgot them (we didn’t need to as luckily had it in our toiletries with us.) Fully functioning kitchen, lots of space for us. Shower heat and pressure good. The host was very attentive, communicated clearly in English for us.

We are a family four and we enjoyed two nights’ stay at this lovely Auberge. There was easily accessible parking just outside of the rooms. The accommodation was spacious with two good size double bedrooms and a very comfortable living area and a little kitchen. It was just as it appears in the photos. It is right next door to a very lovely restaurant, where the breakfast is served in the mornings and they served lovely food in the evenings (extra cost for the evening meal as per their menu). The atmosphere was lovely at the restaurant and the service was very friendly. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We had the misfortune to suffer a punctured tyre just before our arrival at the accommodation. This was obviously potentially really inconvenient for us - particularly happening on a Friday evening! The owner was extremely helpful. He was even kind enough to get up early on a Saturday morning and accompany us to the local garage and ensure that the problem was sorted quickly for us so that we could fully enjoy a day at the zoo. We were really made to feel that this was no problem for him to do so, but we felt this was definitely above and beyond expectations of usual level of service. We were extremely grateful for this as this event could have really ruined our only day at the nearby zoo. We would highly recommend both the rooms and the restaurant.

The owner is absolutely amazing – his passion for the place and what he does shines through every detail. You can tell this is much more than just a business for him; it's a dream he's living and sharing with his guests. The domain itself is breathtaking – full of charm, history, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes you instantly feel relaxed. It's the perfect place to unwind, and it was incredibly convenient for our trip. Even though we stayed only one night, it felt like a special escape – a moment of calm and inspiration.
